  7.     Since his release from prison, Nelson Mandela has traveled
  8. 63,350 miles in 84 days to 23 countries, urging the retention
  9. of sanctions against South Africa and raising hackles by his
  10. refusal to denounce Fidel Castro and other revolutionaries who
  11. have supported his cause. The strain is showing: last week
  12. Mandela came down with mild pneumonia in Ethiopia. Mandela, who
  13. turns 72 this week, is considering a vacation that could raise
  14. some eyebrows: a three-week Caribbean sojourn as Castro's guest
  15. in Cuba.
